1. Monita celebrated her Independence Day by joining a school parade.

2. Before the parade, Monita and her classmates prepared their costumes. Every class had to choose one student to dress as an Indonesian hero. Monita was chosen as the class representative and she dressed as Cut Nyak Dien. Other students wore red and white clothes.

3. They ran back to their class in the middle of the parade because it started to rain.

4. A student from the other class won the best costume in the parade. He dressed up as Tuanku Imam Bonjol.

5. Monita did not wear red and white clothes because she was chosen to dress as Cut Nyak Dien, an Indonesian hero.
